Tom duPont and I went to meet David Moyer, Director of Sales, Developer Services with Smith & Associates for a Tampa Talks interview. We met him at the Sales Office for The Residences at the Tampa EDITION, currently being built in Water Street.
Smith & Associates is the high end luxury real estate firm in the Tampa Region, and the number one source for New Construction and world class amenities, with annual sales of $1.6 billion. And they are my client.
Many of the new luxury condominium high rises being built on Bayshore Blvd. are being handled by Smith & Associates and David is in charge of the sales of this 'crown jewel' of Tampa. The Residences on top of The EDITION boutique hotel will have access to all of the amenities of this 5-Star Hotel, providing a luxury brand experience featuring a rooftop pool with adjacent bars and restaurants and an expansive spa and fitness area.
The EDITION hotel will have 172 guest rooms and suites on the first 9 floors, and then 37 one-of-a-kind private homes will reside on the 10th - 22nd floors above, with their own private drive, entrance and lobby. Residents will also enjoy EDITION’s signature approach to world-class food and beverage, which extends to seven in-house dining outlets, including two restaurants overseen by award-winning chefs.
Their sales office was created to represent the over the top materials being utilized in these residences, and provide a feel of the expansive views that will be seen from every room through floor to ceiling glass windows. The views from each residence are one of the amenities that make these homes special. David explained that they will each have wrap around balconies encompassing the whole perimeter of the residence. That outdoor living space becomes a place where most people will spend their time.
In the kitchen, with the sleak cabinet design, I was pleasantly surprised to find a well designed refrigerator and large freezer hidden behind the cabinet doors, as well as 2 wine refrigerators. Because you can never have enough storage for wine! One slender full size refrigerator was hidden behind a cabinet front, but there is also a smaller one with a glass door, underneath one of the counters.
The benefits of living on top of a luxury boutique hotel are enormous, and provide the ultimate luxury lifestyle, as well as being in walking distance and a stones throw away from Amalie Arena, Sparkman Wharf, the Florida Aquarium, and the beginning of Tampa's Riverwalk.
I am very interested in seeing the building finished and having this unique combination of both Luxury Hotel and exclusive Residences added to Tampa's portfolio.
If this seems like the type of place you want to live. (I know I would) you can contact David Moyer @ Smith & Associates, with the starting price of a home is $2 million. https://tampaeditionresidences.com/
